2013 Waterfire Columbus
WaterFire Columbus is becoming one of the most exciting arts exhibits in Central Ohio since it began in 2005. The magnificent array of bonfires was first established on the three rivers of downtown Providence, Rhode Island in 1997. In downtown Columbus the flames reflect on the waters of the Scioto River. Audience members gather throughout the summer at Genoa Park for an evening of natural art, music and activities.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m., live music begins at 7:30 p.m. and the fires are lit at 8:30 p.m. The live music resumes at 9:00 p.m. and the evening will conclude at 10:30 p.m. Admission is FREE! Parade of Homes
The 2013 BIA Parade of Homes featuring 13 spectacular new homes that showcase the latest-and-greatest in design, products, décor, technology and landscaping. Whether it’s the paint colors, cabinet options, extras in the owner’s retreat or many more elements both inside and out – the Parade displays a multitude of ideas that are sure to inspire. The Parade takes place in the truly innovative planned community of Jerome Village in Jerome Township, located in southern Union County. (Just west of Dublin) Tickets are $12 at the door. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express with photo ID. Advance discount tickets are $11 online. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is $2 per car. Cash only. Monday – Saturday: Noon – 9pm. Sunday: Noon – 6pm.

Solebrate! Food and Music Festival
Come on out to the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard to join in the fun at the Solebrate Food and Music Festival! There will be sand carving and food art competitions, dueling paint prushes, the taste of wine brews and food, mixed in with a wide variety of music! Race for Ellie
The Race for Ellie is a great event drawing both competitive runners and families. This year’s event marks the eighth race change the course of Mitochondrial Disease. Events include:
- 5k run
- 1 mile walk
- 2 Kids Fun Runs (1 mile, and 1/4 mile)
Join us for exercise, food, and fun while fundraising for Mito. The Race for Ellie is held in honor of Ellie Kovalcik, who suffers from Leigh’s Disease, a form of Mito.
All proceeds support our research project at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Institute of Mitochondrial Biology.
