Join Rewind’s George Wolf (a melanoma survivor) for the second annual Miles for Melanoma 5K Run/Walk at Creekside Plaza in Gahanna on 9/20/14 (an OSU bye week!)

In the inaugural year, Central Ohio raised over $42,000 for research! Join us this year and help make a difference!

WHO: You! Join us individually or create a team when you register.

WHAT: A 5K run/walk that will allow participants to help raise funds to support research, education and advocacy for melanoma.

WHERE: Creekside Plaza, Gahanna, Ohio

Check-in and Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m.

6-17 years- $15

Registration fees are non-refundable

Register early to save! Early-bird registration ends on September 18, 2014 at midnight. Race day registration will be $40 for adults and $20 for children.

National Parkinsons Foundation Moving Day

Join us to beat Parkinson’s disease in our community! Moving Day® is the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) Central & Southeast Ohio chapter’s annual fundraising walk for Parkinson’s. This event features a family-friendly walk route, music, and entertainment for people of all ages and abilities. In addition to a fundraising walk, Moving Day® is celebration of movement with its very own Movement Pavilion. In 2013, our Movement Pavilion included Parkinson’s friendly activities such as exercises that can be done both standing and in a chair. We hope to add additional activities to continue emphasizing the important role that exercise plays in managing the symptoms of Parkinson’s.  For more info click HERE.
