Friday, October 31

Tickets GO ON SALE Aug. 1 at Ticketmaster.com!

THE STRAY CATS—all three original members Brian Setzer (guitar, vocals), Lee Rocker (upright bass, vocals), and Slim Jim Phantom (drums, vocals)—have today (July 28) announced their return to the road this fall for a cross-country month-long tour.  Set to kick off October 25, the iconic multi-million selling band will be bringing their legendary explosive live show and red-hot rock & roll to audiences nationwide. Their setlists will include massive hits such as “Stray Cat Strut,” “Rock This Town,” “Runaway Boys,” “(She’s) Sexy + 17,” and more.

BRIAN SETZER: “What blows me away every time is how this music still connects — decades later, it’s just as raw, just as real. We see fans from every generation now.”

LEE ROCKER: “There’s nothing like the sound we make when the three of us hit the stage–it’s high-octane rockabilly, loud and proud. We’re fired up to bring that to fans across the country again!”

SLIM JIM PHANTOM: “HOLY MACKEREL!  The Cats are back for a very, special indoor tour.  I’m thrilled and excited to be on the road in 2025 with the best Rockabilly band in the world!  These are the venues where the Cats sound best and one thing I can guarantee 100%…We Will Rock Your Town!!”

These shows follow 2024’s critically acclaimed summer tour:

“Setzer has retained his smooth vocals and still stung when he played lead guitar…Stray Cats demonstrated that the core of the band’s appeal is that the three musicians have stuck to one sound and continue to do it well.” –Charley Crespo, Aquarian Weekly, 8/19/24 (on 8/15 New York City Show)

“From the moment they stepped on stage, guitarist Brian Setzer, drummer Slim Jim Phantom and upright bassist Lee Rocker tore through song after song at a breakneck pace.”

–Sean Reiter, SF Bay Area Concerts, 8/1/24 (on 7/30 Saratoga, CA Show)

“As Stray Cats came out onstage, the whole place started raging! It was seriously cool (not to mention nostalgic) watching everyone in the crowd singing along to songs I’ve been listening to for 40 years!”

–Sean McCracken, Top Shelf Music Mag, 8/9/24 (on 8/1 Costa Mesa, CA Show)

“As the final notes of ‘Rock This Town’ echoed through the amphitheater, the audience erupted into applause, clearly not ready for the night to end. Stray Cats, ever the showmen, returned for an encore, closing with a fiery rendition of ‘Rumble in Brighton,’ leaving the crowd exhilarated and satisfied.”

–Kevin Rolfe, Utah Concert Review, 8/22/24 (on 8/5 Salt Lake City, UT Show)

“They expertly blended their most well-known material like the immortal hits ‘Rock This Town’ and ‘Stray Cut Strut’ with lesser-known tunes… All three band members were in fine form…”

–Matthew Berlyant, Under The Radar Magazine, 9/2/24 (on 8/15 New York City Show)

About the STRAY CATS:

The STRAY CATS, the band that put Rockabilly music back on the record charts in the early ’80s, scored several big hits on both sides of the Atlantic thanks to a striking visual 1950’s style brought “up to date” with exaggerated pompadours and colorful tattoos and as well as genuine musical chops that evoked the best players of rockabilly’s original heyday. Formed by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer, upright bass player Lee Rocker and drummer Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, NY, in 1979, the trio shared a love for Rockabilly music. After banging around New York for a few months, in the summer of 1980, and seeing a pompadoured kid on the cover of UK magazine NME, they hopped a plane to London where a rockabilly revival movement was just beginning to emerge. Their massive hits and videos include “Runaway Boys,” “Rock This Town,” “Stray Cat Strut” “(She’s) Sexy + 17,” and “I Won’t Stand in Your Way.”

Hailed as one of the “most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era, the legendary rock and roll band with horns, Chicago, came in as the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine’s Top 125 Artists Of All Time. Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades.

Chicago released CHICAGO GREATEST CHRISTMAS HITS, a new collection combining songs from all three of its beloved Christmas albums, in 2023 via Warner Music Group/Rhino.  They released their 38th studio album, BORN FOR THIS MOMENT in 2022, which included the hit single “If This is Goodbye.”  BORN FOR THIS MOMENT, captures the true heart of the band over 14 vibrant new songs encapsulating the unique blend of award-winning and personal songwriting, multilayered harmonic vocalizations, and world-class arrangements that have been electrifying audiences across the globe for decades.

In Fall of 2022, Gravitas Ventures released Chicago’s documentary “The Last Band on Stage” directed by Peter Curtis Pardini and narrated by the band’s longtime friend and actor Joe Mantegna telling the incredible story of how the 57-year-old band survived a pandemic that stopped the world in its tracks.  The funny and informative documentary offers a look at how the legendary band was able to produce content even during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.” said Gravitas Ventures’ Acquisition Coordinator, Mackenzie Maguire.

Chicago received The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award from the GRAMMYS. The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates performers who have made outstanding contributions of artistic significance to the field of recording.  Eligible since 1994, they were inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame upon their first nomination. Chicago’s first album, Chicago Transit Authority, perfectly fusing pop, rock and jazz together was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame in 2014.

Robert Lamm and James Pankow have become inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017. These legendary songwriters wrote mega-hits such as, “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday In The Park,” “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day,” “Make Me Smile,” and others.  The International Trombone Association presented its 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award to James Pankow. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes people who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to the trombone profession over a long career.

Chicago’s lifetime achievements include two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, Founding Artists of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a Chicago street dedicated in their honor, and keys to and proclamations from an impressive list of US cities. An incredible 25 of their 38 albums have been certified platinum, and the band has a total of 48 gold and platinum awards.

Chicago have toured every year since the beginning – they’ve never missed a year.  The original three band members are Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals and James Pankow on trombone. The band line-up also includes Wally Reyes, Jr. on drums, Tony Obrohta on guitar, Loren Gold on keyboards and vocals, Ray Herrmann on sax and flute, Neil Donell on vocals, Eric Baines on bass and Ramon “Ray” Yslas on percussion.

First North American Tour Since 2022

Following his historic three-night stand at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom earlier this year — hailed by BILLBOARD as “a religious experience” and moving NPR to rave “Paul McCartney has so much swag it’s ridiculous” — Paul McCartney and his acclaimed Got Back Tour will make their wildly anticipated return to North America this fall.

Got Back’s 2025 run of 19 newly announced dates marks Paul’s first extensive series of shows across the US and Canada since 2022. The tour kicks off September 29th with Paul’s Greater Palm Springs area live debut at Acrisure Arena and runs through to a November 24-25th finale at the United Center in Chicago. Got Back 2025 will feature Paul’s long-awaited return to Las Vegas, Denver, Des Moines, Minneapolis, Tulsa, New Orleans, Atlanta, Nashville, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Montreal, and
Hamilton – plus a few cities that will be hosting their first-ever Paul McCartney concerts, Albuquerque and the aforementioned Greater Palm Springs area.

General on sale for these Got Back tour dates will begin July 18th at 10am local time. For further information, pre-sales etc., check paulmccartneygotback.com.

Irrefutably one of the most successful and influential singer-songwriters and performers of all time, McCartney’s concerts bring to life the most beloved catalogue in music. With songs like “Hey Jude,” “Live and Let Die,” “Band on the Run,” “Let It Be” and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show and more: hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music – dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles songbooks that have formed the soundtracks of our lives.

Paul McCartney launched his Got Back tour in 2022 with16 sold out shows across the US that led up to his history-making set at Glastonbury in June 2022. In 2023 Paul performed 18 shows as Got Back rocked through Australia, Mexico and Brazil. In 2024, Paul amazed capacity crowds at more than 20 dates spanning from South America and Mexico to the UK and Europe.

Paul McCartney’s live shows have continued to wow fans and inspire new levels of acclaim from critics the world over, with recent raves from the U.S. media including:

“Seeing Paul McCartney live remains a bit of a religious experience” — BILLBOARD

“Remarkable… This is the magic trick I was talking about, something The Beatles mastered before anyone else: to be pure showbiz and shockingly new at the same time, to know your biz completely and still, somehow, not be bored… To make genius look effortless, funny and fun… he played piano, bass, guitar and ukulele; he spun out indelible riffs without fuss or fanfare, and when he rolled up his sleeves and leaned into the innuendo of ‘Let Me Roll It,’ the years fell away and his hyper-competence turned into that swag, an unfaded allure.” — NPR

“These songs appear to have a restorative effect on McCartney, as if he draws from the same well of youthful energy and happy memories that all Beatle fans do upon hearing their music… No wonder he never stops. Neither have his fans, who seem to grow younger every year.” — PEOPLE

“It was among the most touchingly normal miracles I’ve ever experienced… ‘Some of us have to get some sleep, you know,’ McCartney said, after ‘Let It Be.’ But he didn’t look like an old man in need of sleep. He looked like Paul McCartney. Forever returning for another curtain call, another formal bow before the crowd, a man soaking in the energy emitted by fans like a cat in the sun.” — PITCHFORK

“Everybody in the room was having the night of our lives — but nobody was having more fun than Paul… all boyish energy and vigor… it was devastatingly powerful to hear Paul sing ‘Now and Then’ in the city where John wrote it, bringing it all back home. It was a moment that felt intensely private — as if we were eavesdropping on the two of them — yet massive… the whole show was a joyful explosion” — ROLLING STONE

“An icon among icons… a vision of graceful nonchalance” — USA TODAY

“As always, McCartney switched between bass, guitar and piano, and he was in strong voice, hitting essential high notes with ease… a once-in-a-lifetime moment” — VARIETY

Paul and his band have performed in an unparalleled range of venues and locations worldwide: From outside the Colosseum in Rome, Moscow’s Red Square, Buckingham Palace, The White House and a free show in Mexico for over 400,000 people to the last ever show at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park where The Beatles played their final concert in 1966, a 2016 week in the California desert that included two headline sets at the historic Desert Trip festival and a jam-packed club gig for a few hundred lucky fans at Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace, two Glastonbury Festival headline slots, rocking the Bowery in New York City for a week of spontaneous club shows, and even one performance broadcast live into Space!

Featuring Paul’s longtime band – Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums) – and constantly upgraded state of the art audio and video technology that ensures an unforgettable experience from every seat in the house, a Paul McCartney concert is never anything short of life-changing. The Got Back Tour also features the Hot City Horns — Mike Davis (trumpet), Kenji Fenton (saxes) and Paul Burton (trombone) — who first joined Paul in 2018 to perform at Grand Central Station ahead of embarking on the Freshen Up World Tour in the same year.
