John A. Johnson, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist with over three decades of experience in mental healthcare. However, what makes Dr. Johnson special is not his academic, medical, or business credentials; rather, it has been his unrelenting dedication to applying those credentials to improving mental health outcomes in our central Ohio communities, by creating an ecosystem to help the most marginalized individuals to become more empowered, productive, better functioning members of society. Access Ohio, the agency he founded in 2006, has served over tens of thousands of Ohioans who suffer from mental health and substance abuse issues.
