Columbus – William Herbert

William Herbert currently works as the Infectious Disease Coordinator on 2 units with the Columbus Division of Fire and goes over and beyond in his job duties for his fellow firefighters. This past year, William was directly involved in updating and improving the services to firefighters by working with Mount Carmel and OhioHealth.  During the pandemic, he provided services and attention to all of the families of firefighters who passed away due to COVID. He met with the families regularly and followed up to make sure the families received the benefits to which they were entitled.
