COLUMBUS – Two people are dead after an argument ended in a shooting on the East Side Sunday afternoon.
Officers dispatched to the 1400 block of E. Mound Street on a reported shooting at 12:35 p.m. found one adult suffering from a gunshot wound, Sgt. Michael Smith of the Homicide Unit said.
Columbus Division of Fire paramedics took the victim to a hospital where they were pronounced dead at 1:01 p.m.
A second victim transported themselves to hospital with gunshot wounds suffered in the same incident. That victim dies at 1:14 p.m., Smith said.
The victims have not been positively identified and no other information about them was released.
The preliminary investigation revealed an argument took place involving the victims prior to the shooting, Smith said.
The investigation continues.
