COLUMBUS – The Fury lost its fifth straight match, dropping a five-set decision to the San Diego Mojo Friday night at Nationwide Arena.
Columbus (5-10) took the first set with a final score of 25-21 but dropped the second and third, 23-25 and 19-25 before rattling off four-straight points to overcome a deficit and take the fourth set, 25-23.
The Mojo (6-8) rallied to win the decisive final set, 10-15.
Kendall Kipp dominated in her debut with the Fury, tallying 20 kills and two blocks to pair with Reagan Cooper’s 22 kills.
The Fury head west to take on Las Vegas at Lee’s Family Forum on Wednesday night.
