COLUMBUS – The sixth “super load” began its journey to New Albany Monday, leaving from a dock on the Ohio River and carrying a 378,400-pound air processor to the Intel facility in Licking County.
Nearly two dozen of these massive truckloads are due to make the trip from Manchester, in Adams County, to New Albany and Hebron.

The hex/cold box measures nearly 19’3″ tall, 20 feet wide, and 128 feet long.
After leaving the area near the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and state Route 104 in Ross County Tuesday morning, the convoy will continue to north to SR 762 near Commercial Point, then east to Rickenbacker Parkway where it will stop for the night.
The seventh load is set to leave for New Albany Thursday.
ODOT has planned the routes to make sure the massive truckloads can be accommodated and obstructions along the route, such as large overhead signs, traffic signals, and utility lines, have been adjusted or moved by local governments and utility companies.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers escorting each convoy will make sure emergency traffic will get around rolling roadblock with minimal delay, ODOT officials say.
