COLUMBUS — A predawn shooting at a South Side night club Saturday left two men dead and four others wounded, police said.
Antwaun Artis, 21, was found dead inside an after-hours club called Tha Plug in the 1500 block of S. High Street when
officers responded to a reported shooting shortly after 5:00 a.m. Saturday, according to Sgt. David Shimberg of the Columbus police Homicide Unit.
Jayden Peacock, 22, was dropped off at Nationwide Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 6:00, Shimberg said.
Two other victims were taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and two more to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, authorities said.
The injured men ranged in age from 27 to 42 years of age.
There was no immediate word on their conditions but Shimberg says they are expected to survive.
No arrests have been reported.
