COLUMBUS – After pausing for several days to allow for eclipse traffic, the latest “super load” resumes its journey through central Ohio today.
The convoy, escorting a 378,400-pound air processor to the new Intel plant in New Albany, has been parked near the intersection of state routes 204 and 256, northeast of Pickerington, on Saturday. It will leave that location as soon as children have all been dropped off at their schools, Ohio Department of Transportation officials said.

This load is 19’3” tall, 20 feet wide, and 128.5 feet long.
The fifth load is scheduled to depart from Adams County on April 11. The sixth and seventh loads are set to leave for New Albany April 15 and 18 and are scheduled to deliver their loads on April 20 and 21.
ODOT has planned the route to make sure the massive truckloads can be accommodated and obstructions along the route, such as large overhead signs, traffic signals, and utility lines, have been adjusted or moved by local governments and utility companies.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers escorting each convoy will make sure emergency traffic will get around rolling roadblock with minimal delay, ODOT officials say.
