Name That Tune traveled back to 1988 this morning with such a great song! I had such a crush on Neil Finn from Crowded House back in the day, and I was pleasantly surprised to see him touring with Fleetwood Mac when they were in town last year.
“Don’t Dream It’s Over” is from Crowded House’s 1986 self titled album and peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The video was nominated for Best Group Video, and Best Direction at the 1987 MTV Video Music Awards, and earned the group a Best New Artist award.
