Modern Love is from David Bowie’s 1983 album Let’s Dance. In interviews over the years, David had said the song was inspired by Little Richard and maintains the albums theme of the struggle between God and man. Modern Love reached #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was used in David’s set at his 1985 performance at Live Aid.
