“I Love Rock N Roll” is the title track from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts 1982 album and was originally recorded by The Arrows in 1975. Jett saw the Arrows peform the song while on tour in London in 1976 and first recorded the song in 1979 with Steve Jones and Paul Cook from The Sex Pistols as the B-side for her single “You Don’t Own Me,” before re-recording the song with the Blackhearts.
