“In My House” is from the Mary Jane Girls’ 1984 album “Only For You” and peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was written and produced by legend Rick James, and was a part of the 80s “Filthy Fifteen” list, compiled by the PMRC (Parents Music Resource Center) of songs they felt were offensive in content. The PMRC was founded by four wives of prominent politicians, including Al Gore’s wife Tipper.
