“Sister Christian” is from Night Ranger’s 184 album “Midnight Madness” and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s the band’s biggest hit, and was written and sung by the band’s drummer Kelly Keagy for his little sister Christy. After visiting his family in Eugene, Oregon, Kelly wrote the song after the shock of seeing how grown up his sister had become. The original title was “Sister Christy,” but the other members of the band misunderstood the working title when Kelly sung it for the first time, and the title just stuck.
