“Wouldn’t It Be Good” is from British artist Nik Kershaw’s 1984 album “Human Racing” and peaked at #46 on the Billboard Hot 100. Nik’s portrayal as an alien visitor in the video and heavy rotation on MTV helped the song almost crack the US Top 40. While the song didn’t do as well in the states as it did overseas, “Wouldn’t It Be Good” hit the number on spot in Poland and Nik performed the song at Live Aid in 1985.
