This morning, we traveled back to 1970 with Paul McCartney and Wings and their #10 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Maybe I’m Amazed.” You’ll find the song on the album “McCartney” and it was written by Paul for his wife Linda after his breakup with The Beatles. Paul credits Linda for helping him through that difficult time.
The studio version of “Maybe I’m Amazed” was never released as a single, but the concert version released was used to promote the “Wings Over America” live album in 1977.
