“Africa” is from Toto’s 1981 album “Toto IV” and peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The melody and lyrics were completed in 10 minutes by David Paich, based on a map of Africa in a National Geographic article. Weezer famously covered the song in 2018.
